Chelly Compendio is a student from Pennsylvania. She enjoys making art from a variety of mediums such as colored pencil, oil paint, and watercolor. She made this piece originally by first outlining the kendama in black on watercolor paper, using her first kendama as a reference, then painting it and cutting it out. She made the background using watercolor paint and colored pencil, and pasted the kendama on the background. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for clubs and activities in her school, working at her local art center, and playing kendama.
